08/04/18 9:30am | Mixed U11 Vikings | York RI | 2 - 11 | Loss | Another tough game for the Vikings against a BIG York RI side. The Vikings had some good spells of passing and movement in the game and were unlucky to gift York RI a couple of early own goals. A good finish from Cameron and a great strike by Kayden C gave the Vikings 2 deserved goals. But York RI proved too strong scoring 11. Daniel Dixon in goal pulled off save after save to prevent the scoreline being much larger. A tough end to the season for the Vikings but lots of lessons learnt and more to work on in training! Player of the Match was Cameron - excellent throughout the whole game! |

19/11/17 10:00am | Mixed U11 Vikings | Poppleton Panthers | 2 - 5 | Loss | A real gutsy performance from the Vikings who battled from the start and really gave Poppleton a tough game. The result of a 5-2 defeat didn't do the Vikings justice as they deserved more from this game. Two great goals from birthday boy Cameron who was unlucky not to get his hat-trick. 10/09/17 10:00am | Mixed U11 Vikings | Thorpe United White | 0 - 15 | Loss | A very tough first game of the season against a new team to the league - Thorpe United White. The Vikings were unfortunately on the back foot for most of this match against a very good and confident team. The good goal keeping from Euan, Annabel and Barnaby couldn't keep the score down as Thorpe United ran out 15-0 winners. Some positive things to take from the game - we never gave in and battled throughout, good passing and tackling as well by everyone. Grace was my Player of the Match - great ball control, distribution and determination all game. |

09/10/16 10:30am | Mixed U11 Vikings | strensall Tigers | 0 - 8 | Loss | MAULED BY THE TIGERS Hit by injury, sickness, trapped by the marathon, being away, and singing in the minster, a below strength Fullford FC were no match for a rampant Strensall team who moved the ball swiftly and broke at a pace we could not match. even with a full strength team we would have struggled against this well drilled outfit. The score could well have been doubled if it were not for a brilliant one man show in goal from Ethan today. his double save in the first half was bettered only by his treble save in the second after our defense visibly tired. Lessons from today were the need to hold our positions, move the ball quickl,y and to track back to follow midfield runners. the fact that the opposition man of the match was their solid central defender shows it was not all one way traffic. special mention must go to Jonathan and Levan who ran tirelessly up and down the pitch. Levan showed some great touches of class on his debut. and some neat interpassing involving Clemmie, Liam and Luke caused problems on several occasions for the Tigers. The never say die attitude of our team was appreciated by the opposition fans with applause and some well deserved hot dogs from our welcoming hosts. Man of the match Ethan for his amazing one man show! next time we might give him some cover.. |

09/10/16 10:00am | Mixed U11 Ebors | huntington | 1 - 2 | Loss | another unlucky defeat for fulford today. a great performance against a strong huntington team was characterised by some great attitude, communication and effort. fulford goalscorer archie added to his tally for the new season and the player of the match could have been one of several players with great performances coming from Sam in goal, Will Mc, and Nick. But another high energy performance from Jake gets the nod today. |

25/09/16 9:30am | Mixed U11 Vikings | Tadcaster colts | 4 - 8 | Loss | The early start seemed to catch Fulford FC off guard and our normally tough tackling players seemed devoid of energy and speed until the game was out of sight today. We went a goal up with our first attack of the game thanks to a strong run on the right and a teasing cross from Edward. His cross deflected off an unfortunate Tad defender. In fact Edward's superb display on the right was a feature throughout the match and all his crosses struck Tad defenders, but there were to be no more own goals. Time after time the offside trap was broken, and other times the offside was unfortunately missed!! Ethan single handedly kept the score down with a string of blocks after his defence had gone awol. Jonathan scored just at the end of the first half, calmly slotting home after neat interplay with Clemmie. but we still went into the break 4-2 down. Clemmie worked hard up front for little reward, Leyton first appearance was marked with some neat passing when he got the ball at his feet. In the second half more confusion re the offside meant a Tad breakaway from in their own half left them with 4 strikers bearing down on Ethan. The lads then tried to push out only to be caught out again as it left Tad strikers in the clear following a throw! To their credit Fulford still created chances and were it not for some great stops and a few scrambles we could have got something. In the dying minutes the come back was on. Jonathan came alive as did Jack who scored 2 goals in a minute. but it was too little too late and Tad ran out 8-4 winners. We look forward to playing them again with a full strength squad and a bit more organisation as the season progresses! player of the match. EDDIE BARTON |

25/09/16 9:30am | Mixed U11 Ebors | tADCASTER ALBION | 0 - 2 | Loss | By all accounts a close affair this morning. Though the history books will show 0-2, this report can go someway to giving a more realistic picture. Fulford deserved at least a draw with some parents reporting Fulford to be the better side. I wish I could say there was a hotly disputed penalty - after a goal bound shot was brilliantly saved by WillMc. Unfortunately Will was not playing in goal. On another day the scores could have been reversed. player of the match this morning JAKE |

30/03/14 10:30am | Mixed U11 Ebors | Rufforth United | 0 - 1 | Loss | Today's eagerly anticipated game did not disappoint. Two teams, both with title aspirations giving their all in their teams cause. Fulford started very brightly as evidenced by the fact that Andy had unleashed 5 shots within the first 10 minutes. We were using our width well and causing Rufforth all kinds of problems, the only thing missing was the end product. After the first 15 mins Rufforth started to come more into the game, winning corners and creating chances. On 20 minutes a ball into the box bobbled agonizingly over Jake's dive presenting the unmarked Rufforth striker with a tap in. Rufforth continued to press and we did well to keep the score to 1-0 at half time. Second half we started brightly again, creating several chances, including a Damian effort that hit the post. Jordan came on down the left hand side and immediately began to terroize the Rufforth defence but we just couldn't find a way through. As the half continued Rufforth came more into it and Jake pulled off a series of fine saves to keep us in the match. Try as we might we just couldn't find that opening today - the first match in which we have failed to score all season. At the final whistle the Coaches were proud of the boys. They had put everything into the game and matched Rufforth in every department. It remains to be seen where we will finish in the League, but the boys can march proudly on towards their League Cup Final vs Tadcaster on 4th May. Jake was deservedly named Man of the Match for his quality goalkeeping throughout the game. |
