| Match report | Fulford's first match was against Osbaldwick. Fulford took the lead when a corner from James was met at the far post by Harrison, which fell to Reza who scored from close range. Fulford added a second in the second half when James finished neatly with the outside of his foot into the far corner. Osbaldwick nearly pulled a goal back on the breakaway, but Harvey saved the one-on-one by deflecting the ball onto the post with his feet. Fulford wrapped up the win with a good goal from Ross. A neat passing move in midfield saw Will find Ross out wide and he cut in and beat the keeper with a powerful shot inside the near post. The next game was Tadcaster Magnets. Fulford struggled to get their passing game going, but got a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Tom H, including a powerful strike from an indirect free-kick. Against Copmanthorpe B', Tom H was again on target. The pick of the goals was from Harrison, whose long-range strike went in off the underside of the bar. Joe then added a third when a powerful left foot shot that went in the far corner. The final group game was versus Upton United B'. Harrison got the winner with a great stike from 20 yards, with a half-volley lob back over the keeper's head, following the keeper's throw-out. In the quarter-final Fulford faced Copmanthorpe A'. Fulford got off to a flying start straight from the kick off as they put together 8 passes which led to Will scoring with a low hard drive from the right. Further goals were scored by Harrison and James. The semi-final was versus Osbaldwick. Just like the group match, this was a very good contest, but Fulford won through, thanks to goals from Tom H and a late strike from James. The final was versus Upton United. In strong winds and torrential rain, this was an epic encounter, as both sets of players really went for it. Fulford made the stronger start and were driven forward by Joe, who had an excellent tournament in a defensive midfield role. Joe's surge forward and shot was handled in the box by an Upton Defender. The ref awarded a penalty and up stepped James. His powerful shot hit the inside of the post and rebounded straight into the keeper's hands, although he did show good reflexes to catch it as it could have easily have hit him and gone in. Fulford and James were not to be denied as moments later he played a one-two with Tom H and raced through to finish from close-range. Upton pushed forward in the second half looking for an equaliser, but were ofton denied by some great tackles from Ollie. Fulford could have wrapped it up two minutes from time when a left wing cross from Tom H was met by Ross at the back post, but his header went narrowly wide. With the ref indicating that there was 20 seconds left, Upton won a throw-in, which was hurled into the box. They won the first header, but Reza had tracked back with his opponent to make a great clearing header, and the ref sounded the final whistle moments later. It was a great performance by all the team, but special mention must go to Reza and Will who had fine performances on their A' Team debuts.
