Match report   So the local rivals came to the Parish hoping to seal promotion; having played and drawn twice this season @ford new they had enough to disrupt the celebrations but got off to a poor start conceding an early wind-assisted goal direct from a corner. A close game ensued and HT came with no addition to the score despite the wind advantage Ozzo had enjoyed.

Any thoughts of an early goal back vanished as Ozzo pounced to double their advantage, despite the protestations of offside from Jordan (another yellow card!).

But FFC gradually rolled into gear pressing Ozzo and eventually Sam Harro broke free and rifled a shot in off the post past the stranded keeper. More Ford pressure and a deep high swinging cross was met beautifully by Jordan to steer the equalizer past the keeper.

As Ford pushed for the winner the Ozzo team prayed for the final whistle which duly came to confirm their promotion.

Last league game v Strensall on Saturday and a win would seal a good first season for 'Ford in Div 2 and a 4th placed finish.
